All we say and do will be reflected by these values.
We put JESUS at the center of our life.
We will RECONCILE the lost to Jesus.
We will bring RESTORATION to those who are wounded and allow them a safe place to heal.
We will give up things we love for what we LOVE even more, laying aside our differences and preferences to fulfill our mission.
We are ambassadors of his GRACE and we will give grace freely to all.
We are CULTURE CHANGERS, making an impact for future generations today.
We are SPIRITUAL CONTRIBUTORS, not spiritual consumers. The church does not exist for us, We are the church and we exist for the world.
We are real and honest with ourselves, God and others creating AUTHENTIC RELATIONSHIPS.
We value all FAMILY members, youngest to oldest as we are all made in God’s image.
Statement of faith
Here at Lifeline Church we believe in the value of a team. We must be playing with the same playbook in order to succeed in following our vision and staying on mission with Jesus. This is what we believe.
In the essential beliefs, we will be unified.
There is one body and one Spirit—just as you were called to one hope when you were called—one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all. (Eph 4:4-6)
In the non-essentials, we show grace.
“My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one. (John 17:20-22)
Accept him whose faith is weak, without passing judgment on disputable matters. (Rom 14:1)
But avoid foolish controversies and genealogies and arguments and quarrels about the law, because these are unprofitable and useless. (Tit 3:9)
In all our beliefs, we glorify God by loving each other.
“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” (John 13:34-35)
I appeal to you, brothers, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another so that there may be no divisions among you and that you may be perfectly united in mind and thought. (1 Cor 1:10)
GOD, JESUS & THE HOLY SPIRIT
We believe that God the Father holds all the attributes of God while exercising a unique role in the triune God. The Godhead is in agreement with the role of each: God as the Father, the Son as sacrifice, and the Spirit as power. He is the father of Jesus Christ, by the power of the Holy Spirit, and yet still one with both as God The Father adopts believers into relationship with him as their Father. With Christ, believers have the privilege of being heirs to God’s glory.

Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He is co-equal with the Father. Jesus lived a sinless human life and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of the world by dying on a cross. He rose from the dead after three days to demonstrate His power over sin and death. He ascended to heaven’s glory and will return again someday to claim His church and take them to Heaven.

The Holy Spirit is co-equal with the Father and the Son of God. He is present in the world to make men aware of their need for Jesus Christ. He also lives in every Christian from the moment of salvation. He provides the Christian with power for living, understanding of spiritual truths, and guidance in doing what is right. As Christians we seek to live under His control daily.

The Bible is God’s Word to us. It was written by human authors, under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is the supreme source of truth for Christian beliefs and living. Because it is inspired by God, it is the truth without and any mixture or error. The Bible is infallible, inerrant, and absolute truth. We listen and obey the Word of God.
Scripture References: Psalms 12:6; 119:105, 160; Proverbs 30:5; 2 Timothy 1:13, 3:16; 2 Peter 1:20-21
Salvation is God’s free gift to us, but we must accept it. We can never make up for our sin by self-improvement or by good deeds. Only by trusting in Jesus Christ and God’s offer of forgiveness can anyone be saved from sin’s penalty. When we turn from our self-ruled life and turn to Jesus in faith we are saved. Eternal life begins the moment one receives Jesus Christ as Lord of his life. The evidence of salvation is repentance, confession, baptism by water immersion, and a life committed to His service.
